Job summary

UN Women ECARO is implementing the Push Forward Strategy to strengthen governance, leadership for women's rights, and policy engagement across Europe and Central Asia. The role supports knowledge management, donor relations, and strategic partnerships to advance gender equality regionally.

The position reports to the Regional Gender and Good Governance Specialist, working with Country Offices and HQ to ensure coherent strategy implementation and resource mobilization, while promoting

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in public administration, law, human rights, gender equality, management, social sciences or related area.
• A first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree.
• A project/programme management certification (PMP®, PRINCE2®, MSP®) would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute technically to the ECARO Push Forward Strategy implementation.
• Coordinate its rollout across the Regional Office and Country Offices and ensure coherence with priorities.
• Analyze trends and programme priorities related to backlash against gender equality and identify opportunities.
• Prepare donor and UN Women reports and knowledge products.
• Develop partnerships and resource mobilization strategies linked to Push Forward.
