Job summary

Watsons Turkey, a leading health and beauty retailer, is seeking an Inventory Planner to manage stock levels and align them with sales forecasts and budgets.

You will collaborate with Merchandising to develop accurate forecasts for promotions, monitor stock health, coordinate with suppliers on import processes, and improve forecast accuracy.

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in a related field, 1–2 years of experience, fluent English, and strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–2 years experience in inventory planning, supply planning, etc., in a multinational company.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and knowledge of ERP systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork oriented.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels in line with sales forecasts, growth targets, and budget objectives.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory availability.
• Collaborate closely with the Merchandising team to develop sales forecasts in line with promotional plans.
• Measure, analyze, and continuously improve forecast accuracy.
• Coordinate with suppliers and related parties regarding product import processes.
• Monitor, measure, and improve Supplier Service Levels (SSL).
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve inventory health and stock quality, and initiate corrective actions for slow-moving, excess, or unhealthy stock.
• Optimize ordering patterns based on minimum and optimal landed cost methodologies.
