Job summary

Rixos Hotels is seeking a Purchasing Specialist for Rixos Tersane İstanbul to strengthen procurement for hotel operations across departments. The role focuses on obtaining competitive quotations, supplier evaluation, and streamlining purchase orders to meet service standards.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Business Administration or Hospitality, has experience in purchasing or procurement within luxury hospitality, and demonstrates strong negotiation, Excel skills, and English proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain, preferably in hospitality or luxury hotels.
• Solid understanding of purchasing processes, supplier management, quotation comparison, and PO procedures.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent research and analytical abilities for supplier comparisons.
• Detail-oriented and organized with ability to manage multiple requests.

Responsibilities

• Obtain competitive quotations and support supplier selection with Managers.
• Conduct regular market research and gather at least three quotations for comparison.
• Maintain accurate supplier information, price lists, and records.
• Use procurement system to create, process, and track purchase orders.
• Follow up on requests and orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Evaluate suppliers on price, quality, service, and delivery times.
• Maintain communication with suppliers and coordinate meetings as needed.
• Prepare month-end purchasing and account reports for Managers.
