Job summary

Uniq Technology Ltd in Turkey is seeking a Senior Finance & Accounting Specialist to manage accounting operations in line with applicable standards and company policies, ensuring IFRS compliance.

The role covers monthly, quarterly and year-end closings, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and interaction with tax authorities and internal/external stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate financial information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a growing corporate environment.
• SMMM qualification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience in management reporting and budgeting/forecasting processes.
• Good command of accounting software and ERP systems; ERP migration/implementation experience preferable.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly preferred; familiar with Micro ERP is a plus.
• Understanding of Teknopark Tax and Accounting Regulations highly preferable
• Good understanding of IFRS.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and well-organized; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment; manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Performing accounting operations in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Review financial reports and lead relations with tax authorities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant local accounting and tax regulations.
• Performing budget and forecast analysis, monitoring variance analysis.
• Assist with statutory reporting, audit, and financial analysis.
• Identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of accounting issues.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances and trends, and provide clear explanations and management insights.
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
