Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Turkish perimeter, supporting general accounting, tax operations, treasury, and cross-functional coordination in a multinational environment.

The role requires a university degree in accounting/finance, at least 7 years of accounting experience, and strong IFRS knowledge. Proficiency with SAP, HFM, and advanced Excel is preferred. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• CPA appreciated.
• Min 7 years of accounting experience, preferably international or industrial.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and IFRS is a plus.
• Experience with monthly closing, reconciliations, tax and treasury support.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred), reporting tools such as HFM and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical mindset, accuracy, and clear communication.
• High sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and ethics.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Team spirit and willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support the Accounting Manager in preparing financial and statutory reporting.
• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and cut-off procedures.
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of monthly closing according to IFRS and Group accounting rules.
• Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations, ensuring proper documentation and full traceability.
• Support tax-related processes: corporate income tax, stamp tax, withholding tax, property tax, and other local obligations.
• Assist in treasury operations: bank reconciliations, payments, cash positioning, and forecasting.
• Ensure accounting procedures comply with policies and internal controls; participate in audits.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners; participate in finance transformation and ERP migration.
