Job summary

Hugent Hizmet ve Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti in Turkey seeks a senior Store Design & Construction leader to drive end-to-end strategy in line with the company’s retail growth plans, brand positioning and customer experience standards.

You will manage concept development, design, fit-out and rollout across the store network. You will oversee budgeting, timelines and contractor relationships, lead a cross-functional team with Retail Operations, Real Estate, Marketing and Finance, and ensure stores

Qualifications

• 20 years of experience in Store Design, Construction, Retail Development or related functions.
• Strong experience in fashion, sportswear, cosmetics, beauty or lifestyle retail.
• Proven track record managing multiple new store openings, renovations, relocations and rollout projects.
• Deep understanding of brand identity, customer journey and commercial objectives in physical retail.
• Budget management, cost control, tender processes and contractor/vendor management.
• Ability to manage several complex store projects simultaneously within demanding calendars and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Store Design & Construction strategy aligned with growth plans and customer experience standards.
• Manage full lifecycle of new store openings, relocations, renovations and refurbishments from concept to delivery.
• Oversee design, fit-out, construction and rollout across the retail network.
• Ensure store environments reflect brand identity while meeting operational and commercial requirements.
• Oversee planning, budgeting, cost management and timelines to deliver projects on quality and schedule.
• Manage architects, contractors, consultants and suppliers through design and construction.
• Collaborate with Retail Operations, Real Estate, Marketing, Finance and Commercial teams to support expansion priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement in store concepts, layouts and design standards with focus on performance and experience.
• Follow international trends in fashion retail and translate developments into store concepts.
• Lead and develop Store Design & Construction team across multiple projects and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 20 years of experience in Store Design, Construction, Retail Development or related functions.
• Strong and proven experience within fashion, sportswear, cosmetics, beauty or lifestyle retail is essential.
• Solid experience working within a multi-store retail organization with an extensive physical store network. ( fashion / sportswear / cosmetics / lifestyle retail)
• Proven track record of managing multiple new store openings, renovations, relocations and rollout projects.
• Strong expertise in retail store concept development, architectural design, fit-out and construction management.
• Deep understanding of how brand identity, visual experience, customer journey and commercial objectives translate into physical retail environments.
• Strong experience in budget management, cost control, tender processes and contractor/vendor management.
• Ability to manage several complex store projects simultaneously within demanding retail calendars and opening deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and team leadership capabilities.
• Strategic perspective combined with a hands-on, fast-paced and execution-oriented approach.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Oversee project planning, budgeting, cost management and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered according to agreed quality, budget and schedule.
• Manage architects, contractors, consultants and suppliers throughout design and construction processes.
• Partner closely with Retail Operations, Real Estate, Marketing, Finance and Commercial teams to support store expansion and development priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement in store concepts, layouts, space utilization and design standards with a strong focus on commercial performance and customer experience.
• Follow international trends and innovations across fashion, sportswear, cosmetics and lifestyle retail, translating relevant developments into the company’s store concepts.
• Lead and develop the Store Design & Construction team while managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
