Job summary

DeFacto is seeking a Senior Software Architect to lead design and modernization of scalable, enterprise-grade platforms. You will drive AI-enabled workflows, architect event-driven systems, and guide migrations to microservices using .NET Core, Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with QA and DevOps, and align technical strategy with business goals across a global footprint.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering with at least 2+ years as Senior Software Architect in enterprise-grade projects.
• Experience designing distributed, event-driven architectures.
• Strong.NET Core development for scalable enterprise software.
• Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases.
• Solid understanding of AI/LLM concepts and integration into enterprise workflows.
• Experience with AI agents, multi-agent frameworks, and security/cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and modernization of scalable service platforms.
• Drive AI capabilities integration into the enterprise ecosystem for intelligent automation.
• Architect and work with .NET Core, Docker, Kubernetes, and related tech stacks.
• Guide legacy system migration to microservices and cloud-native architectures.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, or related fields.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a Senior Software Architect role within enterprise-grade projects.
• Experienced in designing distributed systems with a strong focus on event-driven architecture.
• Advanced expertise in developing scalable, highly available enterprise-grade software using .NET / .NET Core technologies.
• Strong experience in relational (MS-SQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational database models (Key/Value, Document, Graph).
• Solid understanding of core AI/LLM concepts (Prompt engineering, Embeddings, Semantic Search, Vector Databases).
• Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with developing AI Agents, multi-agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen), and integrating LLMs into enterprise workflows with knowledge of AI Gateway security, token/cost optimization, and model management.
• Advanced skills in using AI Coding Agents (such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code) and optimizing token usage during development.
• Proficient with containerization and orchestration concepts (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Passionate about working in a fast-paced, Agile environment and leading technical excellence.

• Lead the design, development, and modernization of our next-generation, business-critical, and highly scalable service platforms.
• Drive the integration of AI capabilities into our enterprise ecosystem, designing robust architectures for AI Agents and intelligent automation workflows.
• Opportunity to architect and work with a cutting-edge ecosystem: .NET Core, Docker, Kubernetes, Dapr.io, Nats.io, Redis, Vector DBs, Elastic Search, GrayLog, Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, SonarQube, Azure DevOps.
• Guide the transformation and migration of legacy systems (WCF, Asp.Net MVC, MS-SQL) into modern microservices and cloud-native architectures.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting production services for performance bottlenecks and exceptions.
• Assisting software developers with architectural design decisions, bug tracking, and resolving performance issues.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, mentoring junior/mid-level engineers, and collaborating closely with QA and DevOps to ensure high-quality, continuous delivery.
