Siemens Mobility in Turkey is seeking a Software Development Engineer for Industrial Networks and Security to design and implement firmware for industrial routers and security devices, focusing on networking and secure connectivity.

The role requires 3+ years in software development, strong C/C++, Embedded Linux, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and CI/CD expertise, with collaboration across international teams.

Qualifications

• BSc., MSc. Or PhD in Computer Science, Electronics, Control Engineering or related areas
• Proven 3+ years of experience in software development
• Strong programming skills in C/C++
• Experience with Embedded Linux development / Linux Kernel
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking
• Experience in VPN technologies (IPsec, OpenVPN, WireGuard)
• Experience in firewalls and cybersecurity products
• Experience using Git-based development workflows
• Ability to analyze and solve system-level software issues
• Experience in Docker and Container technologies
• Experience in development of industrial communication network protocols, tools, and libraries (Switching & Routing Protocols, Netlink, Netfilter, Iproute2, CONFD, NETCONF, SNMP, etc.)
• Experience in CI/CD and DevOps pipelines
• Experience in Azure DevOps or similar platforms
• Strong communication skills in an international engineering environment
