Job summary

Bulutlu Marine in Pendik is seeking a Service Engineer to install, maintain, repair, and inspect marine equipment, electrical and control systems, and propulsion systems on vessels and at shipyards. You will diagnose issues, perform field service, and prepare service reports for clients and internal teams.

The role requires travel to customer sites when needed, adherence to safety and quality standards, and a drive to continuously improve service procedures and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues in marine equipment and systems.
• Hands-on field service experience, including on-board and shipyard work, and familiarity with service procedures and documentation.
• Proficiency in maintenance and repair of electrical, control, and marine propulsion systems, using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Effective communication skills for clear interaction with clients, suppliers, and colleagues, and the ability to write concise service reports.
• Degree or vocational qualification in Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics; basic IT skills for using diagnostic software and reporting tools.
• Willingness to work on board vessels and in shipyards, including occasional travel and flexible working hours when service needs arise.
• Knowledge of maritime safety standards and regulations; prior experience in the marine industry is an advantage.

Role Description

The Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pendik. The Service Engineer will perform installation, maintenance, repair, and technical inspection of marine equipment, electrical systems, control systems, and propulsion systems on vessels and at shipyards. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, carrying out troubleshooting and field service activities, preparing service reports, and coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and effective problem resolution. The role involves supporting project execution, adhering to safety and quality standards, and occasionally traveling to customer sites when required. The Service Engineer is expected to contribute to continuous improvement of service procedures and provide feedback to help optimize equipment performance and reliability.
