Job summary

Karadeniz Holding, Kağıthane-based, seeks a Technical Inspection Manager to lead audits and inspections across power generation facilities and mechanical systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

You will analyze equipment condition, drive corrective actions, mentor technical teams, and coordinate with OEMs and third-party specialists on large-scale international energy projects. This hybrid role offers travel and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or Naval Architecture Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in maritime, power generation, shipbuilding, or industrial sectors.
• Strong technical expertise in diesel engines (HFO/LNG), gas turbines, and auxiliary mechanical systems.
• In-depth knowledge of equipment reliability, automation systems, and protection systems.
• Experience with RCA, risk assessment, and reliability engineering methodologies.
• Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance practices.
• Ability to read technical drawings, P&IDs, and maintenance documentation.
• Experience with ERP/CMMS platforms, preferably SAP.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or above.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure audits and inspections in power generation plants meet safety and industry standards.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute technical audits across facilities with structured follow-up.
• Evaluate equipment condition and maintenance effectiveness; report findings.
• Lead preparation of incident and failure investigation reports.
• Identify corrective actions and improve maintenance processes.
• Monitor performance trends using oil, vibration, and condition data.
• Participate in RCA activities to develop preventive measures.
• Lead reliability improvement initiatives for critical equipment.
• Coordinate with plant teams, OEMs, and external specialists.
• Support technical training and capability-building for teams.

We are looking for a Technical Inspection Manager to join our Operational Excellence at our Head Office located in Kağıthane, Istanbul.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or Naval Architecture Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the maritime, power generation, shipbuilding, or industrial sectors.
• Strong technical expertise in diesel engines (HFO/LNG), gas turbines, and auxiliary mechanical systems.

• Proven experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), risk assessment, and reliability engineering methodologies.
• Solid understanding of preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance practices.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and maintenance documentation.
• Experience with ERP/CMMS platforms, preferably SAP.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or above.
• Availability for both domestic and international travel.

• Participate in root cause investigations and failure analyses, contributing to the development of preventive measures and best practices.
• Identify reliability risks, recurring failures, and maintenance deficiencies, and develop recommendations for technical improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis activities for critical equipment failures.
• Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability, asset performance, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare comprehensive technical inspection reports and present findings to senior management.
• Coordinate effectively with plant teams, OEMs, and third-party technical specialists.
• Support the development of technical teams and contribute to technical training and capability-building initiatives.
