Job summary

Siemens Mobility Turkey is seeking a Senior Robotics Connectivity and Real-Time Systems Engineer to design, implement and maintain production-grade robot interfaces and real-time control components across advanced automation projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software development, strong C++, Python, and ROS 2 skills, experience with UR/ SRCI/ OPC UA, and a proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with robot communication interfaces and interoperability standards.
• Experience in impedance and admittance control and force/torque sensing.
• Experience with real-time systems and industrial protocols (PROFINET, OPC UA, etc.).
• Strong C++, Python, and ROS 2 experience with testing and integration.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development is an advantage.
• Very good command of English and strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production-grade robot connectivity and communication interfaces.
• Design and implement impedance control solutions for robotic applications.
• Develop force-controlled and compliant robotic motion capabilities.
• Integrate standardized robot communication interfaces including SRCI-based solutions.
• Develop real-time control and motion execution interfaces.
• Design and integrate future robot platform, runtime, and controller interfaces.
