Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Fatih, Istanbul, is seeking a Robotics Senior Developer / Software Architect to lead the design of robotics software and drive end-to-end system integration across planning, execution and runtime layers. You will own architecture, review code, and mentor engineers in a global, digitally transforming environment.

You will need 5+ years in software development, strong C++, Python, and ROS 2 experience, plus knowledge of API design and modern deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with C++, Python, and CMake in multi-threaded, performance-critical systems.
• Experience in API/contract design (REST, gRPC, ROS 2, OPC UA) and system integration.
• Experience with robotics fundamentals, including kinematics, dynamics, trajectory planning, and tool modeling.
• Experience with containerized deployments and GPU acceleration is a plus.
• Good English and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture and design of robotics software solutions.
• Develop and maintain interfaces between planning, execution, and runtime systems.
• Design and implement scalable software layers and platform integrations.
• Drive code ownership, quality, maintainability, and technical excellence.
• Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance to engineers.
• Collaborate with engineering stakeholders as the primary technical counterpart.
