Job summary

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Robotics Systems & Technical Operations Lead to join our group companies' humanoid robotics initiatives. The successful candidate will evaluate robotic systems from a technical perspective, collaborate with international manufacturers, and lead the establishment of technical operations following the appointment of our distributorship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate humanoid robot manufacturers from a technical perspective.
  • Analyze the mechanical, electronic, embedded systems, and software architecture of robotic platforms.
  • Assess manufacturers' technical claims against actual product capabilities.
  • Evaluate motors, actuators, sensors, control systems, and overall robot architecture.
  • Assess robotic software platforms, SDKs, APIs, and ROS 2 compatibility.
  • Conduct technical meetings with manufacturers in English.
  • Identify technical risks and integration requirements.
  • Evaluate potential use cases for the Turkish market.
  • Prepare technical evaluation reports to support management decision-making.
  • Travel to manufacturers' production facilities and R&D centers in China, when required, to conduct on-site technical assessments.
  • Compare manufacturers and their products and recommend the most suitable brand and product portfolio.
Following the completion of the distributorship process, you will also be responsible for:
  • Managing the installation and commissioning of demonstration and pilot robots.
  • Leading technical integration projects at customer sites.
  • Establishing and managing the after-sales support organization, including technical service, maintenance, repair, spare parts, and remote support.
  • Planning and coordinating training programs for local technical teams.
  • Managing technical communication and escalation processes with manufacturers.
  • Ability to review and interpret technical and regulatory documentation covering CE / EU Machinery Regulation and ISO 10218 compliance, battery certification and transport restrictions, KVKK/data privacy requirements, spare-part pricing and lead times, warranty terms, and firmware/software update commitments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Control & Automation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with robotics or complex electromechanical systems.
  • Experience in robot installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
  • Strong understanding of the integration of mechanical, electronic, and software systems.
  • Experience with hardware-software integration.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze technical documentation.
  • Ability to evaluate technical matters from a commercial and business perspective.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical managers and decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently, taking ownership, and demonstrating initiative.
  • Understanding of BMS and thermal management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
