Job summary

Eaton Group in Ankara, Turkey, is seeking a senior Mechanical Engineer to drive mechanical retrofit design for Aftermarket Low/Medium Voltage systems. You will define specs, perform calculations, and collaborate with global R&D teams to deliver certified designs on site in Ankara and remotely with teams in Netherlands and India.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years in electrical/mechanical engineering, with strong CAD, DFSS knowledge, and

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical industry/ mechanical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of 3D CAD and PDM tools.
• Independent decision making and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop standardized mechanical retrofit design solutions for Aftermarket Low Voltage and Medium Voltage systems.
• Define technical specifications and create concept design options.
• Validate design concepts through calculations and simulations.
• Release finalized designs for production and join certification activities.
• Collaborate with international R&D teams and cross‑functional groups.
