Job summary

Turkcell Global Bilgi seeks a Senior Asterisk & VoIP Systems Engineer to lead design, deployment, integration, and operation of Enterprise PBX, Call Center, and UC platforms. You will implement Pure Asterisk, manage RBAC and HA, and automate operations.

The role requires hands-on production Asterisk experience, strong Linux scripting, and proficiency with SIP, ARI/AMI, and network issues. On-call and cross-team collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Pure Asterisk in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation, configuration, operation, integration, and support of Enterprise PBX, Call Center, and UC platforms.
• Design, deployment, development, integration, and operation of systems on Pure Asterisk.
• Develop CRM/ERP integrations using Dialplan, AGI, AMI, ARI.
• Compile Asterisk from source; manage modules, patching, upgrades, migrations.
• Manage Asterisk Realtime Architecture (ARA) and DB integrations.
• Configure and integrate SIP Trunks, SBCs, FXO/FXS/PRI Gateways.
• Deploy Kamailio/OpenSIPS for SIP proxy/routing.
• Perform packet-level RCA with Wireshark, tcpdump, sngrep.
• Troubleshoot VoIP: jitter, loss, latency, audio issues, RTP, DTMF."
• Manage RHEL/Linux servers; fix system/service/resource/logging/perf issues.
• Develop ops tools with Bash; Python/ PHP/ C as needed.
• Support Java/Tomcat apps; troubleshoot JVM issues.
• Centralized logging with Elasticsearch; monitor with Zabbix/SolarWinds.
• Contribute to HA/DR, load balancing, and failover.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP/DNS/VLAN/NAT/QoS for VoIP.
• Work with MySQL/PostgreSQL; support Azure DevOps/TFS deployments.
• End-to-end RCA across app, system, network, DB, VoIP layers.
• Participate in Incident/Problem/Change Mgmt; create runbooks/docs.
• Collaborate with Software/DevOps/Net/Telecom teams to resolve issues.
