Job summary

Kron in Istanbul is seeking an Expert Operations & Delivery Engineer to support Kron solutions deployed for telecom operators and large enterprise customers. You will troubleshoot production issues, analyze Java logs, and help maintain system reliability across global deployments.

Responsibilities include creating and enforcing operational processes, guiding teams, and coordinating with local and international customers. Travel to multiple sites will be required to ensure service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of enterprise system and software support experience with focus on Java application log analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation in production environments.
• Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix environments, including Unix commands and bash scripting.
• Experience working in a 24/7 production environment and with external customers/vendors.

We are looking for an Expert Operations & Delivery Engineer to be employed in our İstanbul office.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Supporting Kron solutions deployed in telecommunications operators & big enterprise customers to solve the customer problems related with different products.
• Create and maintain a high standard of operational excellence in global systems support.
• Oversee the effectiveness and success of all system support services
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and training plans for resource administration and proper usage.
• Provide guidance and technical expertise on issues encountered within the systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with local and global customers and vendors.

Key Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of enterprise system and software support experience with strong focus on java application log analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation in production environments.
• Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix environments is required, including strong knowledge of Unix commands and bash scripting.
• Must have hands-on experience in Linux/Unix operating systems for system and application support.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of estimating levels of effort and managing projects through to completion.
• Excellent organizational, supervisory, communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be willing to travel and spend periods of time at various sites.
• Experience communicating and working with external customers and 3rd party vendors
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to approach problems from different perspectives.
