Job summary

Islamic Development Bank in Istanbul seeks a Principal, Portfolio Management to oversee the LOF credit portfolio across Europe and Central Asia, ensuring credit quality and timely execution of disbursements.

You will coordinate client relationships, manage facility terms, monitor reports, and work with internal teams on restructuring, risk, and governance to deliver robust portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration is required.
• Master’s degree or professional CFA/CMA/CPA certifications are preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in banking/credit relationship management in emerging markets.
• Fluency in English and Turkish; knowledge of Russian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and oversee performance of ICD's credit facilities to ensure effective execution of portfolio operations and credit quality.
• Review and clear disbursement requests and secure internal approvals.
• Set up facility limits, drawdowns, and repayment schedules in ICD’s core system.
• Follow up with clients to ensure funds are used per agreements and reports are timely.
• Provide management with quality analyses and recommendations on facility/project developments.
• Coordinate rescheduling/structures and reflect changes in the core system and docs.
