Job summary

DP World in Istanbul, Türkiye, seeks an Assistant Manager – Operations to supervise day-to-day Trade Finance operations and support client onboarding. The role collaborates with Sales, Compliance, Credit, Legal, Product and external institutions to ensure timely, compliant transactions.

You will uphold KYC/AML standards, manage documentation, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining strong customer relations and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Trade Finance or Corporate & Commercial Banking Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Engineering or related field.
• Good understanding of KYC and AML requirements applicable to Trade Finance products.
• Proficiency in Turkish and English, both written and verbal.
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, proactive approach and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with customers, financial institutions and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Trade Finance operations in line with internal policies, procedures and local regulatory requirements.
• Support client onboarding, including registration, KYC and AML-related processes, while maintaining appropriate operational controls.
• Process loan transactions, including disbursements and settlements, and prepare client statements and other required documentation.
• Work closely with Sales, Compliance, Credit, Legal, Product, customers and financial institutions to ensure smooth and timely transaction execution.
• Build positive and trusted relationships with customers, provide operational support and gather feedback to help improve the client experience.
• Contribute to process improvements, system testing and wider Trade Finance initiatives as required.
