Eaton Corporation is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for its Ankara site within the Transformer Business Unit. In this role, you will support the deployment of Eaton’s continuous improvement tools and processes, drive cultural transformation, and integrate Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering, and at least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. You will lead key improvement projects and mentor teams across various operations.
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer role is based at Eaton's Ankara site within the Transformer Business Unit.
Continuous Improvement (Lean) Coordinator role will be responsible for supporting deployment of the continuous improvement tools and processes of the Eaton Business System (EBS), including Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) and Operational Assessment (OpA) plants (Sincan-Temelli) in support of strategic goals and objectives.
Build organizational Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) capability and develop local CI Tool Champions by providing structured training, coaching, and consulting support. Drive sustainable cultural transformation by embedding Continuous Improvement (CI) principles into daily operations.
CI Capability & Cultural Maturity: Lead the cultural maturity journey through deployment of the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), including visual management systems, process standardization, Leader Standard Work (LSW), Gemba walks, manning strategy, daily accountability systems, layered process checks, and “CI for Everyone” mindset.
Leadership Coaching & ELSS Integration: Mentor, coach and challenge site leadership teams, CI leaders, and functional heads on the effective application of ELSS methodologies, including Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), High Performance Work Teams (HPWT), Lean & Six Sigma tools, Rapid Improvement, Events (RIE)/Kaizen, and Lean Six Sigma project execution.
Build strong problem‑solving culture by embedding structured methods (A3, 8D, DMAIC). Drive process improvement and problem‑solving in special process areas, including powder coating, powder paint systems, surface finishing operations, and copper plating processes.
Provide hands‑on technical coaching to reduce defects, improve first‑pass yield, solve complex quality issues using data‑driven tools, improve process capability, and strengthen root cause analysis linked to process parameters and material behavior.
Kaizen & Project Execution: Plan, facilitate, and support Kaizen events such as Business Process Improvement (BPI), Integrated Deck Building (IDB), Rapid Improvement Events (RIE). Lead Six Sigma projects to deliver measurable business impact. Coach engineers and technicians in quality tools, statistical thinking, and Lean principles.
Operational & Cross‑Functional Improvement: Direct structured problem‑solving activities and coordinate corrective action plans for production and quality issues. Mentor cross‑functional teams (MESH, Operations, Quality, SCM) in root cause analysis, waste elimination, process optimization. Coordinate Value Stream Mapping (VSM) across plants to identify and eliminate non‑value‑added activities.
