Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, or mechanical construction management role
• Proven experience in managing mechanical works for industrial plants, EPC/EPCM projects, process plants.
• Strong experience in mechanical equipment erection, steel structures, piping, rotating equipment, rotary kilns, turbines, conveyors, silos, and material handling systems.
• Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical construction, installation, quality control, commissioning, and HSE requirements.
• Ability to read and review P&IDs, mechanical drawings, GA drawings, equipment layouts, and technical specifications.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, cost control, and progress monitoring skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work and live in Adana

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all mechanical works throughout the project lifecycle, from engineering and procurement through fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
• Coordinate mechanical engineering activities and ensure that drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation are completed on time.
• Manage the fabrication and installation of mechanical equipment, steel structures, piping, conveyors, silos, rotary kilns, boilers, dust collection systems, and other process equipment.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, engineering companies, subcontractors, and the internal project team.
• Review and approve mechanical drawings, layouts, equipment specifications, datasheets, and technical submittals.
• Monitor fabrication quality and site installation progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate equipment erection, alignment, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Identify technical risks, interface issues, design clashes, and potential delays and implement corrective actions.
• Manage mechanical contractors and subcontractors, including progress monitoring, manpower planning, and performance evaluation.
• Follow up procurement, manufacturing, FAT/SAT, delivery, and installation of critical mechanical equipment.
• Ensure that mechanical works comply with applicable HSE, quality, environmental, and industrial standards.
• Support project planning, cost control, change management, and progress reporting.
• Participate in technical meetings with suppliers, contractors, consultants, and project management.
• Prepare and review mechanical work schedules, method statements, inspection and test plans, and progress reports.
• Lead mechanical troubleshooting during commissioning and support the transition from construction to operation and maintenance.
• Ensure proper documentation and handover of completed mechanical systems to the operations and maintenance teams.
