Job summary

Nobel Ilac A.S. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Specialist to review and verify mechanical projects, manage revisions, and ensure compliance with applicable standards.

You will lead cost estimation, budgeting, and tender activities while supervising on-site construction and subcontractors to meet timelines and quality requirements. The role requires a strong background in project management, budget control, and regulatory knowledge, with proficiency in MS Office and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in technical evaluation, cost estimation, and mechanical project implementation.
• Experience in budget planning, cost analysis and tender management.
• Experience in project management, budget/cost control, and subcontractor management.
• Knowledge of Kazakhstan standards and regulations; Russian and/or Kazakh preferred; English is an asset.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and verify mechanical projects and manage revision processes.
• Assess compliance with local standards and coordinate adaptations.
• Carry out cost estimation, quantity take-off, and budget planning for mechanical projects.
• Supervise manufacturing, installation, and on-site construction per specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure on-time, within-budget completion and technical compliance.
• Plan, budget, and manage mechanical works in investment and construction projects; monitor field activities.
