The role requires a bachelor’s in electrical/electronics engineering, 8+ years in industrial automation, and strong leadership. Expect collaboration across engineering, procurement, and operations with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• 8+ years of industrial automation experience.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with large-scale automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project automation activities from equipment selection to commissioning.
• Lead on-site contractors; ensure safety, specs, timelines.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations.
• Review and maintain technical docs from contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with international standards for automation systems.
• Develop hardware/software redundancy strategies to minimize downtime.
• Oversee testing and integration of PLC, RTU, and package systems with the main DCS.
• Maintain industrial networks, SCADA, DCS, and HMI configurations.
• Interpret drawings and P&IDs; ensure IEC 61511 lifecycle compliance.
