Job summary

Ekin is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to perform 3D design and 2D drawings, manage BOMs, and coordinate ERP integration. You will lead design activities across the product lifecycle, track timelines, and review designs to meet строгие specifications.

The role requires 5+ years in mechanical design, proficiency in SolidWorks, and knowledge of PDM/PLM, with English proficiency. Travel may be required; cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design
• Proficient in SolidWorks (Catia and Siemens NX are a plus)
• Experience with PDM/PLM systems and change management processes
• Strong knowledge of plastic injection, injection molds, and sheet metal forming
• Experience in thermal design and thermal management of electronic enclosures; CFD/thermal simulation tools a plus
• Good understanding of GD&T, metrology inspection methods, and RPS points
• Advanced level of English
• Strong communication, coordination, and time management skills
• Experience working in cross-functional projects and FMEA teams
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Willing to travel when required

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D mechanical design and prepare 2D drawings according to DFM/DFA principles
• Create and manage product BOMs and coordinate ERP integration
• Lead and coordinate design activities throughout the product development lifecycle
• Track project timelines and manage supplier deliverables according to the Gantt plan
• Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards
• Perform or support thermal analysis and thermal validation activities for reliable operation
• Prepare and participate in design verification and validation tests
• Provide technical leadership in new product development and commissioning projects
• Coordinate closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners
• Support production teams in continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
• Drive design simplification and lean-oriented improvement activities
