Job summary

TechBiz Global GmbH in Turkey is seeking a dedicated L2/L3 Linux Technical Support Engineer to join one of our clients’ hosting teams. This on-site, full-time role focuses on Linux administration, web hosting operations, and complex problem resolution across PHP, Node.js, and Python stacks.

You will collaborate on deploying control panels, securing environments, and ensuring mail, web, and database services run reliably in shared hosting contexts.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on web hosting support and system administration.
• Advanced Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Cross-platform experience with Windows Server (IIS, MSSQL).
• Deep understanding of cPanel/WHM, CloudLinux, PHP, and shared hosting constraints.
• Experience with HTTP servers (Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed).
• Familiarity with web technologies, databases, and server-side debugging.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS.
• Strong communication to manage escalated tickets.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain GNU/Linux systems and virtualized/containerized environments.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot cPanel/WHM, Plesk in shared hosting.
• Troubleshoot web apps built on PHP/Node.js/Python stacks.
• Configure networks, firewalls, and WAFs; respond to security incidents.
• Troubleshoot mail flow; Exim, Dovecot, SPF/DKIM/DMARC.
• Monitor services and optimize Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed, MySQL/MariaDB.
• Support migrations, DR testing, backups, failovers, caching/CDN.
