Job summary

TechBiz Global GmbH in Antalya, Türkiye, seeks a Technical Support Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator (L2/L3) for an on-site role. You will maintain GNU/Linux systems, manage hosting stacks, and support web apps and databases across shared hosting environments.

Responsibilities include deploying control panels, optimizing performance, securing networks, and handling mail servers. Strong Linux expertise and experience with cPanel/WHM and CloudLinux are essential.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on hosting industry experience in technical support and system administration.
• Advanced proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows Server environments including IIS and MSSQL for cross-platform support.
• Deep understanding of the cPanel/WHM ecosystem, CloudLinux (LVE, CageFS, Selectors), PHP configuration, and hosting constraints.
• Strong grasp of web server mechanics, relational/NoSQL databases, and debugging complex web apps at the server level.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and network protocols.
• Excellent communication to manage escalated tickets and deliver custom solutions.
• Nice-to-have: Bash scripting, Python utilities, Ansible, and WHMCS integrations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain GNU/Linux operating systems and virtualized environments (OpenVZ, KVM, Docker).
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot hosting control panels (cPanel/WHM, Plesk) in shared hosting.
• Support PHP-based web apps (WordPress, Laravel; Node.js, Python stacks a plus).
• Configure and maintain network/firewall/WAF security; respond to incidents.
• Troubleshoot mail flow; manage mail servers (Exim, Dovecot, SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Monitor services and perform performance tuning for Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed, MySQL/MariaDB.
• Assist in migrations, backups, disaster recovery, and caching/CDN strategies.
