Job summary

TechBiz Global GmbH in İstanbul, Türkiye, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator (L2/L3) for an on-site, full-time role. You will join the technical team to manage GNU/Linux systems, virtualization, and hosting environments, delivering reliable performance for clients with shared hosting platforms.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Linux expertise, experience with cPanel/WHM, web stacks (WordPress, Laravel), and security tooling.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on experience in the web hosting industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Cross-platform support with Windows Server (IIS, MSSQL).
• Deep knowledge of cPanel/WHM, CloudLinux, PHP configuration, and shared hosting constraints.
• Experience with web servers (Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed) and database stacks.
• Familiarity with network protocols and security practices.
• Scripting and automation with Bash and Python; Ansible is a plus.
• Experience with WHMCS and module integrations.
• Multilingual communication is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain GNU/Linux systems and virtualized environments.
• Deploy and manage web hosting control panels in shared environments.
• Troubleshoot PHP apps, WordPress, Laravel; Node.js/Python stacks a plus.
• Configure networks, firewalls, and WAFs; respond to security incidents.
• Manage mail server issues with Exim, Dovecot, SPF/DKIM/DMARC.
• Monitor services and perform performance tuning for web servers and DBs.
• Assist migrations of hosting accounts, VMs, and mail systems.
