Job summary

TechBiz Global GmbH in TR seeks a Technical Support Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator (L2/L3) for on-site work. You will maintain GNU/Linux systems, administer hosting stacks, and support WordPress/Laravel apps, with focus on PHP, Node.js, and Python backends.

Responsibilities include network security, mail server tuning, and performance optimization across Apache, Nginx, and MariaDB. English skills are advantageous for client communication.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on web hosting support and system administration experience.
• Advanced Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Cross-platform knowledge including Windows Server (IIS, MSSQL).
• Deep understanding of cPanel/WHM, CloudLinux, PHP configurations, and hosting constraints.
• Strong web tech knowledge and ability to debug apps at server level.
• Solid networking basics and scripting capabilities (Bash, Python).
• Experience with WHMCS backend architecture and module integrations.
• Familiarity with high-density server architectures and migrations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain GNU/Linux systems and virtualization environments (OpenVZ, KVM, Docker).
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot hosting control panels (cPanel/WHM, Plesk) in shared hosting.
• Troubleshoot PHP-based web apps; work with WordPress, Laravel, Node.js and Python stacks.
• Configure networks, firewalls, and WAFs; respond to security incidents.
• Troubleshoot mail flow; knowledge of Exim, Dovecot, SPF/DKIM/DMARC preferred.
• Monitor service health and perform performance tuning for Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed, MySQL/MariaDB.
• Assist in migrations, backups, disaster recovery, and caching/CDN strategies.
