Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
3-5+ years of progressive experience in General Ledger accounting, Record-to-Report (R2R), or a similar finance function.
Fluency in English is required.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and General Ledger processes.
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with ERP systems, accounting software, and financial reporting tools.
Knowledge of cash application software and related financial systems is a plus.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, and reporting).
Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on process optimization, accuracy, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day maintenance of the General Ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and documented.
Prepare, review, and post journal entries in compliance with company policies and standards.
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities with accruals and adjustments.
Perform detailed reconciliations of General Ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts to support management reporting.
Support the Record-to-Report (R2R) process with timely financial information.
Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Tax, and other functions for data integration.
Assist in internal and external audit processes with documentation and analyses.
Develop, maintain, and enhance General Ledger policies and controls.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in special projects.
Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses.
