Job summary

Grant Thornton Türkiye is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Specialist for our İstanbul Office to lead financial reporting, consolidation, and multi-entity, multi-currency processes. You will ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance, oversee data accuracy, and support audit readiness.

The role requires 4–5 years in finance, strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle/NetSuite, with an emphasis on rigorous, timely reporting in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) in progress or completed is an advantage.
• 4-5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 2-3 years in financial reporting or consolidation.
• Hands-on knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, or local GAAP reporting standards.
• Experience in preparing or reviewing consolidated financial statements and handling multi-entity/multi-currency reporting.
• Prior audit experience (Big 4 or similar) is a strong plus.
• Exposure to reporting for public or large multinational companies is desirable.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and reporting tools (HFM, OneStream, Tagetik, or similar) would be an advantage.
• Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present financial data.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
• Ability to optimize and standardize reporting processes.
• Strong communication skills, able to interact effectively with finance teams and management.
• Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with audit, tax, and compliance frameworks impacting reporting.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced and international environments.
