Job summary

Forvis Mazars Türkiye is seeking a Reporting Manager to join our Reporting Team in Istanbul. You will oversee the preparation and review of financial reporting packages for multinational clients in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, and other standards, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Business/Finance, 7+ years in financial reporting or audit, strong IFRS knowledge, and proven leadership to coach a team and manage multiple deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in financial reporting and/or independent audit.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Managing the preparation and review of financial reporting packages for multinational clients in IFRS and US GAAP.
• Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial and management reports within deadlines.
• Overseeing budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and ad hoc reports.

We are looking for a"Reporting Manager" to join our Reporting Team in Istanbul. The ideal candidates should have the following qualifications;

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field,
• Good command of written and spoken English,
• Minimum 7 years of experience in financial reporting and/or independent audit, preferably including team management responsibilities,
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Turkish accounting and reporting standards,
• Experience in US GAAP reporting and independent audit is preferred,
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel,
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is an asset,
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients, projects and deadlines simultaneously,
• Strong leadership, team management and stakeholder management skills,
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills,
• Detail-oriented, results-driven and capable of taking initiative.

Job Description

• Managing the preparation and review of financial reporting packages for multinational clients in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP and other applicable accounting principles,
• Ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial and management reports within strict deadlines,
• Managing the preparation and review of management reports in line with predetermined formats and client requirements,
• Overseeing the preparation of budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and ad hoc financial reports,
• Reviewing financial statements, reporting packages and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance,
• Coordinating workflows between clients and internal teams,
• Providing technical guidance on financial reporting matters,
• Managing, coaching and supporting team members while monitoring their performance and professional development,
• Identifying opportunities to improve and automate financial reporting processes.
