Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced EHS leader to provide guidance on health, safety and environmental practices for Germany-based projects and integrations. You will collaborate with senior management to drive EHS performance and deploy strategic initiatives across operations.

Qualifications

• Degree or NEBOSH International Diploma in EHS, Engineering or relevant scientific/technical area
• Minimum of 5 years progressive work experience in field based construction or manufacturing operations
• Class A Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Specialist Certificate
• Regulatory knowledge including safety, environmental and other regulatory standards applicable to building services industries and construction

Responsibilities

• Provide support and advice on all aspects of occupational health, safety, and environment for Germany services/projects/integration of acquisitions
• Collaborate with senior management and other functions to achieve optimal EHS performance
• Support Senior Leadership in the deployment of EHS strategies
• Coach management teams to develop a deep understanding of EHS responsibilities
• Oversee EHS investigations into workplace incidents
• Identify EHS resource needs during project proposal phase
• Manage prequalification, deployment, and safety performance of subcontractors
• Produce and deliver EHS training & development programs
• Conduct regular safety inspections/audits
