Job summary

La Lorraine Bakery Group is seeking an HSE Manager to lead and advance Health, Safety and Environment activities in line with local laws and LLBG standards. The role focuses on developing policies, driving risk prevention, and ensuring safety in projects and daily operations.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree, is a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist, and brings 7+ years of industrial experience with strong knowledge of safety, fire safety, risk assessment and environmental

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Certified Occupational Safety Specialist, preferably Class B or Class A.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing or production environment.
  • Knowledge or certification in environmental management is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational safety, fire safety, risk assessment and legal HSE requirements.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic and proactive mindset.
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational implementation.
  • Strong communication, coaching, influencing, project and change management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the HSE responsible person / Prevention Advisor in line with local legislation and company standards.
  • Develop, implement and improve HSE policies, procedures, standards and management systems.
  • Drive HSE action plans, risk prevention initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Lead occupational safety, fire safety, emergency preparedness and environmental management activities.
  • Ensure safety requirements are integrated into new projects, technical changes and daily operations.
  • Manage accident, incident and near-miss investigation, reporting and follow-up processes.
  • Strengthen safety culture by coaching teams, increasing awareness and promoting LLBG's safety principles.

Job description
