Job summary

Scrambly, a fast-growing adtech startup, is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to own end-to-end modelling for how we spend and earn money. You’ll frame problems, build models, define evaluation, and work with engineers to deploy live predictions.

This is an early data-team hire reporting to the Head of Data, with level and compensation aligned to your experience in a small, autonomous group. The role focuses on forecasting user and cohort value from early signals, guiding bidding and pricing,

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a data scientist working on production models that drive real decisions.
• Experience with LTV or ROAS prediction and long horizons.
• Adtech or mobile performance marketing background.

Responsibilities

• Forecast user and cohort value from early behaviour and keep accuracy as product evolves.
• Develop pricing and bidding models to determine acquisition spend within margins.
• Build segmentation and scoring to differentiate users, partners, and inventory.
• Improve fraud/abuse models while reducing false positives.
• Define evaluation metrics and monitor model performance post-launch.
• Collaborate with data engineering, ML infra, and commercial teams to turn outputs into decisions.
