Job summary

Lexist in Turkey seeks Associates with 3–5 years PQE for its Corporate/M&A department, covering corporate, competition, energy, capital markets and banking. A proven track record in large or innovative transactions, leadership, and client service are essential.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of corporate law, fluent English, and the ability to mentor others while maintaining client relationships and staying ahead of market developments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in corporate, competition, energy, capital markets and/or banking law.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• A solid academic record; LL.M from abroad is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing high-profile agreements.
• Working in a team of highly skilled professionals.
• Playing an active role in all activities of the Corporate/M&A department.
• Researching and analyzing legislation on complex issues.
• Reporting directly to the head of practice partner.
• Maintaining relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
• Staying ahead of sector-specific regulations, trends and developments.
• Developing the skills and knowledge of the team.
