The ideal candidate will draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements, work with international clients, and contribute to strategic legal risk management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law from a reputable university; LL.M. or relevant postgraduate degree is an asset.
• 7+ years of corporate legal experience within a respected law firm or multinational corporation.
• Solid expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law, contracts, and corporate governance.
• Professional working proficiency in French is a must; Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Advise domestic and international clients on day-to-day corporate matters, transactions and strategic legal risk.
• Independently manage drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex agreements with clients and colleagues.
• Contribute to mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance advisory and commercial contract work while communicating risks clearly.
