Job summary

DTID is seeking a Senior COP31 Representative to support preparation for COP31, represent DTID at the Antalya conference, and coordinate post-COP follow-up. The role requires strong diplomacy, high-level engagement, and the ability to build institutional relationships.

You will develop objective engagement plans, brief leadership, and lead opportunities for speaking and partnerships. Travel to Antalya and other international forums is expected, with a focus on turning presence into tangible

Qualifications

• Senior-level policy or international affairs experience.
• Excellent English written and spoken communication.
• Turkish language knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong networking and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a pre-COP31 engagement plan identifying priority organisations and individuals.
• Coordinate with DTID leadership to set objectives for COP31.
• Represent DTID at meetings, events, panels, and bilateral discussions.
• Identify opportunities for panels, interviews and related events.
• Build and maintain relationships with governments, NGOs, and international institutions.
• Brief DTID leadership on COP31 developments and opportunities.
• Coordinate with Communications on announcements and media opportunities.
• Prepare a post-COP31 report identifying developments and opportunities.
• Lead initial follow-up with priority contacts and transition relationships.
