Job summary

Asian Development Bank in Türkiye (Ankara) seeks a Sustainable Solutions Officer to strengthen climate change dialogue, strategy, and investments. You will support upstream analysis, country partnership strategy, and annual country programming, coordinating with CCSE and TURM teams.

You will deliver knowledge services, build capacity, and represent ADB in external events while collaborating with regional climate focal points. Local nationals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in climate, environmental sciences, economics, engineering, or related fields.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in climate change mitigation/adaptation, climate policy and strategy, climate finance, disaster risk management, and project implementation.
• Experience with multilateral financial institutions.
• Two years of relevant experience outside ADB within the past five years is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support to ensure ADB climate change agenda is integrated into Türkiye operations.
• Engage with clients and ministries; support country programming, policy dialogue, and project development.
• Coordinate knowledge management, capacity building, and dissemination of climate knowledge.
• Lead investments and technical assistance in climate change, monitoring progress and reporting.
