Job summary

Asian Development Bank (ADB) seeks a Sustainable Solutions Officer based in Ankara, Türkiye, within TURM and CCSD. You will provide technical and administrative support to ensure climate change priorities are integrated into ADB operations in Türkiye, including upstream analysis, country partnership strategy development, and annual programming.

You will collaborate with sector teams to design investments, deliver knowledge services, and build capacity while coordinating with multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in climate, environmental sciences, economics, engineering, or related fields, preferably with advanced training.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in climate change mitigation and adaptation, climate policy and strategy, climate finance, disaster risk management, and project implementation.
• Experience with multilateral financial institutions and proficiency in English and Turkish.
• Two years of relevant experience outside ADB within the past five years.

Responsibilities

• Support Country Partnership Strategy and annual country programming by integrating climate priorities and developing country diagnostics.
• Provide technical inputs to climate change investment projects, technical assistance, and knowledge management plans.
• Coordinate with sector teams to design and implement investments maximizing climate outcomes and monitor progress of climate-related work.
• Represent ADB in external events and build partnerships with external stakeholders and donors.
