Job summary

Asian Development Bank in Türkiye's Ankara office seeks a Sustainable Solutions Officer to help integrate climate priorities into country strategies and programming. You will work with clients, partners, and internal teams on upstream analysis, project design, and implementation to advance climate resilience and low-carbon development.

The role requires a strong background in climate policy, finance, and knowledge management, with experience across sovereign and private sector operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in climate, environmental sciences, economics, engineering, or related fields.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in climate change mitigation and adaptation, climate policy and strategy, climate finance, disaster risk management, and project implementation.
• Experience with government agencies and development partners, plus research and analytical work.

Responsibilities

• Integrate climate priorities into country partnership strategy and annual programming.
• Support policy dialogue and track global climate issues to inform project development.
• Coordinate with ministries, sector teams, and clients to design and monitor investments.
• Deliver knowledge sharing and capacity-building activities for climate-related projects.
