Job summary

EMW, Inc. seeks a Senior Technician (Configuration Management) in Izmir, Turkey to lead CM activities on-site. The role emphasizes risk management, data modelling, and change control within ITSM environments. You will ensure asset integrity, manage baselines, and support service levels under end-to-end CM processes.

Required NATO SECRET clearance, 3–5 years CM experience, and strong ITSM/tool proficiency. On-site 100% with occasional travel to Disko Hit as needed; contract until 31 December 2026.

Qualifications

• NATO SECRET security clearance is currently active.
• 3 years post-related experience in configuration management; or 5 years with secondary qualification.
• 3 years practical experience across all CM disciplines.
• Strong ITSM familiarity with tools such as Remedy ITSM.
• Good understanding of infrastructure hosting CM tools and databases (MS SQL, Oracle).
• ITIL Foundation Certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Risk management: undertake basic risk management activities and document risks, threats, vulnerabilities and mitigations.
• Data modelling/design: apply standard data modelling techniques and maintain data structures.
• Configuration management: track, log and correct information related to configuration items; verify changes; prevent unauthorized changes.
• Service level management: monitor service against SLAs.
• Change control: develop and implement changes; apply change control procedures.
• Sustainability: maintain an asset register and produce reports to support asset management.
