Job summary

CATL Turkiye is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to lead the BIW welding equipment maintenance at the Bursa facility in Türkiye. You will oversee maintenance programs, reliability metrics, and equipment improvements while managing a cross-functional team to ensure production readiness.

The role requires hands-on technical leadership, knowledge of Siemens PLCs, KUKA robots, and CE / İSG compliance.

• Maintenance & Reliability: Develop PM/TPM plans, monitor MTBF/MTTR/OEE, and improve reliability.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Take full responsibility for major equipment failures in BIW welding workshop and lead RCA/8D.
• Maintenance & Reliability: Establish PM/TPM, monitor MTBF/MTTR/OEE, improve reliability.
• Equipment Improvement: Lead modifications, cycle-time improvements, and quality-related fixes.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure CE Machinery Directive and Turkish İSG compliance, inspections, and audits.
• Documentation & Standardization: Maintain SOPs, drawings, and change-management.
• Team & Shift Management: Manage BIW maintenance staff, shift scheduling, and night shifts.
• Training & Localization: Build Turkish maintenance team through training and tech transfer.
• Maintenance Safety: Enforce LOTO, high-risk work approvals, safety inspections, and incident investigation.
• Spare Parts & Budget: Manage stock, budgets, and procurement.
• Supplier Management: Coordinate with robot manufacturers and contractors for support and issues.
• Cross-Functional Reporting: Present performance summaries and risk alerts to management.
• Process Standardization: Implement CMMS workflows and handover procedures.
