Job summary

CATL Turkiye, Bursa facility, seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to support daily production line inspections, preventive maintenance, and safe operation of welding systems. You will work with welding robots and Siemens PLCs, perform diagnostics, and ensure compliance with LOTO and EHS standards while collaborating with local engineers in a Turkish factory setting.

Reading English and Turkish is required; shifts and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

3–5 years of hands-on BIW welding equipment maintenance experience in the automotive industry.
Experience with welding robots, spot-welding systems, and fixture maintenance preferred.
Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic schematics and troubleshooting; able to read diagrams and perform basic repairs.

Responsibilities

Execute daily production line inspections and preventive maintenance activities, ensuring work orders are completed and closed in CMMS.
Perform basic robot teaching and zero-point calibration; no advanced robot programming required.
Disassemble/inspect/adjust spot-welding guns, servo systems, pneumatic components, tooling, and conveying mechanisms.
Troubleshoot Siemens PLC signals and I/O; identify bus faults and support basic PLC troubleshooting.
Adhere to LOTO, machine guarding, high-voltage safety, and on-site safety inspections.
