Job summary

LOESCHE GmbH in Türkiye seeks a welding engineering professional to organize and supervise hardfacing and maintenance activities both in the workshop and at customer sites. You will lead welding teams, plan maintenance of vertical roller mill components, and manage consumables and equipment.

The role requires strong experience in hardfacing and maintenance welding, knowledge of various welding processes, and ability to coordinate service projects across Türkiye.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in hardfacing and maintenance welding specified.
• Knowledge of FCAW, SMAW, GMAW/MAG and TIG welding processes required or preferred.
• Familiarity with welding quality documentation and relevant ISO standards is advantageous.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.

• Ensure the maintenance and proper operation of welding machines and auxiliary equipment.

Your profile

• Degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field,or several years of experience as an experienced mechanical fitter or welding technician.


• Certification asInternational Welding Engineer (IWE), International Welding Technologist (IWT), International Welding Specialist (IWS) or equivalent is highly preferred.


• Strong experience in hardfacing and maintenance welding.


• Knowledge of FCAW, SMAW, GMAW/MAG and TIG welding processes.


• Familiar with ISO 3834, ISO 9606, EN ISO 15614, EN 1090, WPS/WPQR and welding quality documentation.


• Knowledge of NDT methods (VT, PT, MT, UT) is an advantage.


• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.


• Good leadership, communication and organizational skills.


• Willingness to travel extensively within Türkiye.


• Fluent inTurkish and English (spoken and written). German language skills are an advantage.
