Job summary

RHI Magnesita GmbH is seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Manager for its Eskisehir facility in Turkey. The role centers on leading a diverse maintenance team on site, driving reliability, safety, and process improvements in a heavy industrial environment.

You will direct complex maintenance programs, manage capital projects, and ensure adherence to ISO standards while reporting on key performance indicators. Fluency in English and strong cross-functional communication are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive maintenance experience in a continuous manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
At least 3 years of managerial or team leadership experience driving performance and KPIs.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a diverse team of maintenance professionals including trades, apprentices, and technicians; set performance objectives.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability within the maintenance department.
Ensure all reports and stakeholders adhere to corporate policies, safety practices, and procedures.
Direct installation, maintenance, repair, and dismantling of large-scale industrial equipment and plant infrastructure.
Oversee preventive, predictive, and unscheduled maintenance programs for mechanical and electrical systems.
Lead rapid troubleshooting and fault analyses to minimize downtime and improve availability.
Evaluate infrastructure and recommend capital improvements to enhance equipment availability and production yield.
Prepare detailed technical reports on modifications, procedures, and metrics.
