Job summary

CATL Bursa is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to lead BIW welding equipment maintenance and reliability. You will oversee welding robots, controllers, PLCs, and associated systems, coordinating preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

In this role you will manage PM/TPM programs, monitor MTBF/MTTR, drive equipment upgrades, and ensure safety and CE compliance while building a capable local Turkish maintenance team for mass production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related field.
5+ years welding electrical maintenance experience with team leadership.
Familiarity with automated welding production lines; overseas project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead technical decision-making and troubleshooting in the BIW welding workshop to minimize downtime.
Establish and manage PM/TPM maintenance and inspection plans; monitor MTBF and MTTR.
Drive equipment modifications and cycle-time improvements to support mass production.
Ensure safety compliance with Turkish İSG and CE machinery directives; manage safety inspections.
Develop SOPs, maintenance manuals, and standardized procedures across teams.
Manage spare parts, budget, local procurement, tools, and equipment inventories.
Lead shift planning, manpower management, and night-shift coordination.
Coordinate with suppliers and contractors; report KPIs to management.
