Job summary

ING Hubs Türkiye is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help build the next generation of digital asset and distributed financial infrastructure. You will design and develop scalable backend services, APIs, and cloud-native platforms.

You should have 5+ years of software engineering, strong Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and experience with event-driven architectures, Kafka, and Docker. Prior blockchain experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering, solution design, or architecture roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Fluent English communication (C1+).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable backend services and APIs.
• Develop microservice-based applications on cloud-native platforms.
• Create robust integration between banking systems and digital asset platforms.
• Build secure, highly available services handling financial transactions.
