Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Android Engineer based in Turkey to own the Android app end-to-end, shape mobile strategy, and lead a small autonomous team. You will collaborate across engineering, product, growth, onboarding and retention to ship features rapidly in a product-led environment.

You will mentor other engineers, drive performance optimization, and contribute to the mobile roadmap, with remote-first collaboration and potential relocation sponsorship options.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in native Android development.
• Proficient in Kotlin with ability to ship consumer Android apps.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Android Views.
• Knowledge of Firebase and Play Store deployment.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the Android application end-to-end including architecture and roadmap execution.
• Set technical vision for mobile development and maintain high standards.
• Mentor and support existing mobile engineers.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to shape strategy.
• Work with product and growth on acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention.
• Deliver a polished native Android experience with smooth animations.
• Instrument features and use data to improve the product.
• Own Android release process including Google Play deployment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues and improve stability.
• Help define future mobile engineering structure as the product scales.
