Job summary

Hayat is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to join its Global Digital Technologies team in Istanbul. You will build production-grade Generative AI and LLM-powered apps, drive RAG solutions and AI agents, and integrate AI with enterprise systems using C# and .NET Core.

You will work with Azure OpenAI, cloud-native architectures, and modern CI/CD practices. The role emphasizes collaboration across software, data, product, security, and business teams to deliver scalable AI-powered solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLM and Generative AI applications.
• Experience with AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, RAG, function/tool calling, and AI agent workflows.
• Understanding of LLMOps/MLOps including evaluation, versioning, monitoring, deployment and cost optimization.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Copilot, ChatGPT/Codex, Gemini Code Assist).
• Strong skills in C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, EF Core, REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain production-grade AI/LLM-powered applications.
• Build RAG solutions, AI agents, natural language interfaces, and automation workflows.
• Integrate LLMs with enterprise apps, databases, and internal systems.
• Evaluate models and outputs for accuracy, security, latency, and cost.
• Implement LLMOps/MLOps for versioning, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Develop scalable backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Design multi-layered, microservice-oriented, cloud-native architectures.
• Review AI-generated code for quality, security, and performance.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and deploy to Microsoft Azure.
• Write tests, perform code reviews, and document technical details.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer to join our AI Development team. The role focuses on building production-ready solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and intelligent automation, supported by strong .NET, cloud, and software engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Hands‑on experience developing LLM and Generative AI‑powered applications.
• Experience with AI platforms and APIs such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, RAG, function/tool calling, and AI agent workflows.
• Understanding of LLMOps/MLOps practices, including evaluation, versioning, monitoring, deployment, and cost‑performance optimization.
• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT/Codex, or Gemini Code Assist.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and REST APIs.
• Experience with multi‑layered or Clean Architecture, microservices, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, Docker, Git, and CI/CD processes, preferably Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen.
• Familiarity with Python, vector databases, or Azure AI services.
• Experience with Kubernetes, observability tools, or event‑driven architectures.
