Job summary

Avenga is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead an innovative R&D project building advanced AI solutions in a fast-paced environment. You’ll combine ML expertise with Generative AI, developing end-to-end data pipelines, production models, and multi-agent systems.

This hands-on role requires mentoring engineers, taking ownership of technical decisions, and actively contributing to development.

Qualifications

• Strong ML background with classical algorithms, model training, and fine-tuning.
• Technical leadership mentoring ML engineers and architectural decisions.
• End-to-end AI/ML development from data ingestion to production deployment.
• Experience with LangGraph or LangChain for multi-agent orchestration.
• Hands-on with LLMs, RAG architectures, prompts, function calling, tool integration.
• Experience with embeddings, semantic search, vector databases.
• Strong Python skills, API development (FastAPI), asynchronous programming, and Pydantic.
• Experience with Docker and AI-assisted coding tools.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced R&D with changing priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development of AI/ML solutions from concept to production.
• Design scalable data pipelines and ML models with optimization.
• Build intelligent multi-agent systems and RAG-based applications.
• Develop Python backend services, APIs, and tool integrations.
• Drive technical decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Experiment with emerging AI tech to improve performance and reliability.
