EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and deliver LLM-powered applications and agentic systems that solve real problems for users and teams. You'll work across the full applied‑AI stack—from retrieval‑augmented generation to multi‑step agents that reason, use tools, and automate end‑to‑end workflows.

This is a senior builder's role. You'll take challenging use cases from an ambiguous problem to production: choosing the right models, implementing agentic architectures, wiring up

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in software or ML engineering.
• Hands-on experience shipping LLM-based applications.
• Advanced Python proficiency.
• Experience with RAG systems and vector databases.

Aufgaben

• Design and deliver production LLM apps — chat, copilots, assistants, autonomous workflows.
• Build RAG pipelines: chunking, embeddings, vector search, reranking.
• Develop agentic architectures: multi-step reasoning, tool calls, orchestration.
• Automate business and engineering workflows with agentic AI.
• Define prompts and evaluation strategies for quality, latency, cost.
• Integrate LLMs with internal data, APIs and tooling via connectors.
• Implement guardrails, observability, and safety for AI systems.
• Collaborate with product, data and platform teams to ship features.
• Share knowledge through design reviews.
